Congratulations Senior Girls Volleyball Team: Finished 4th out of 10 teams!!! Excellent Job!

PHYSICS 20
Mon - Finished watching "Waves" video to introduce the new unit.  Students then had to start researching "Waves" terminology/definitions.
Tue - no class
Wed - Students used my hotspot and their cell phones to continue definitions pertaining to Waves.  We went through all of the terms together as a class and then moved on to notes: Properties of Waves.
Thur - Students read Pg. 375-377 (Ch. 14) in textbook.  We discussed and made notes, then students worked on assignment Pg. 378 #1-5.  DUE NEXT CLASS.
Fri - Corrected yesturday's assignment.  We did Lab #3 Waves where we did different actions with a very long spring coil and students had to record results.  Lab due Oct. 12th.

FP 10
Mon - Chapter Test from textbook to review for Unit Exam TOMORROW.
Tue - Unit 1 Test
Wed - Unit 2: Trigonometry was started.  I did a number of examples then assigned Pg. 75 #3ac, 4ac, 5ac.  DUE NEXT CLASS.
Thur - no class
Fri - Reviewed yesturday's lesson.  Did another example of Tangent Ratio and then assigned Pg. 75 #6ace,8,10ac,12,14,17.  DUE NEXT CLASS.

FM 20
Mon - Unit Review for Exam on WEDNESDAY.
Tue - no class
Wed - Unit 1 Test: Inductive & Deductive Reasoning
Thur - no class
Fri - We went through Unit Test.  Then we discussed Ch. 2.1: Exploring Parallel Lines.  We discussed the Eplore the Math (Pg. 70) and then assigned Pg. 72 #2, 3, 5, 6.  DUE NEXT CLASS.

PRE-CALC 20
Mon - no class
Tue - We did notes on Ch. 1.4: Geometric Series.  Assignment: Students need to do all questions on worksheets Except #5.
Wed - no class
Thur - no class
Fri - no class

WA 30
Mon - Continued work on Unit Project.
Tue - continue work on Project
Wed - continued work on Project
Thur - continued project - DUE TUESDAY, OCT. 9.  Unit 2 Exam on Thursday, Oct 11.
Fri - continued project

IP 10
Mon - We went through Units 1 &2 Exam together as a class.  I then introduced the new Unit: Word Processing and the expectations.  Students started reading through "Proofreader Marks".  Will continue Proofreader Marks exercises next class.
Tue - No class.  School In Motion - we danced for a half hour. 
Wed - Students did a Proofreading exercise where they had to make corrections for a piece of work.
Thur - Students typed out answers for the Homonym Assignment, then moved on to 20 Questions Assignment.
Fri - Students had to finish their '20 Questions' Assignment from last class.  If they were finished, they started a Thanksgiving Project.
