PHYSICS 20
Mon - no class
Tue - Unit 1 Test
Wed - We did a Weight/Mass Lab to wrap up Unit 1.  Formal Lab Reports are due 1 week from today: October 3.
Thur - Length Lab #1 DUE.  We went to the computer lab to work on typing up our formal Lab Report for Weight/Mass Lab #2.  These are DUE OCT. 3RD.
Fri - We went through Unit 1 Test together as a class.  Then I introduced Unit 2 with a Video on Waves.  We only just started watching it.

FP 10
Mon - Reviewed last day's lesson.  We then learned a couple new formulas for Volumes of Right Cylinders and Right Cones.  After a couple examples, students started working on the assignment: Pg. 22 #6,7,9,11,14a,18d.  DUE NEXT CLASS.
Tue - Quiz on Volumes of Right Cylinders/Cones. Notes and examples on Volumes of Spheres and Hemispheres.  Assigned Pg. 51 #3ac, 4ac, 5a, 7, 8, 9, 11.  DUE NEXT CLASS.
Wed -  no class
Thur - I finished notes on Ch. 1.6: Surface Area of Hemispheres.  We then corrected Homework Assignments for Ch. 1.5 & 1.6 together as a class.
Fri - Ch. 1.7: Solving Problems Involving Objects.  We did 2 examples of determining Surface Area and Volume of different Composite Objects.  Then students started working on assignment Pg. 59 #3ab, 4a or 4b (students choice to do 4a or 4b).  DUE NEXT CLASS.

Mon - no class
Tue - Ch. 1.7: Analyzing Puzzles and Games.  Then we discussed the Unit 1 Exam: Oct. 3rd Students picked...Assignment: Pg. 55, #2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 8, 11.  DUE NEXT CLASS.
Wed - Workbook Worksheets.  Due next class.
Thur - No class.  Terry Fox Walk
Fri - We corrected the Worksheets from Wednesday's class.  Students played a puzzle/game to start determining the strategy to beat their opponent.

PRE-CALC 20
Mon - A quick review of what we've learned so far (sections 1.1 & 1.2), then we had a quiz that we completed in groups of 3.  We worked on Section 1.3 notes and then students started all the questions for this section.  DUE NEXT CLASS - all sections that we've covered so far as well as they must start on section 1.4.

WA 30
Mon - We reviewed Unit 1 exam and then did more examples in the areas that students had troubles.
Tue - Ch. 2.1: Accuracy & Precision - We did (from the text book) the Exlore the Math, Discuss the Ideas, Examples 1-3.  Assignment Pg. 88 #1-3, 4abcd, 5.  DUE NEXT CLASS.
Wed - Ch. 2.2 Tolerances.  I did a couple examples.  Assignment: Pg. 100 #1-3.
Thur - Computer Lab to work on Unit 2 Project.
Fri - Continued working on Unit 2 Project.

IP 10
Mon - Catch-up class. 
Tue - We read notes on APA Citing and 'Borrowing' other People's material.  Students were assigned a specific APA type of Citing and researched and worked on that in this class.
Wed - Started studying for Units 1 & 2 Exam (Computer Basics).  We studied in class.  I outlined the test.
Thur - Continued studying for test on Friday.
