PHYSICS 20
Tue - Briefly discussed what Physics actually is and then students went into groups and did a Lab on building the tallest free-standing structure that they could with only a piece of paper and a small strip of tape. The group that built the tallest structure gets a 50% off of a Future Assignment.
Wed - We worked (as a class) on how to formally complete a Lab Report. Students need to finish the conclusion for last class --> I proposed a question to them that they need to consider and wrap up the Lab for next class (Friday)
Thur - no class
Fri - We discussed last class' homework. We then moved on to notes on Everyday Physics Terms, Metric System, Converting Units. No homework.
FP 10
Tue - Course Outline and Classroom Expectations. We briefly discussed Measurements (to introduce the opening unit).
Wed - We got refreshed on Proportional Reasoning and then moved on to Conversions of Imperial Units. Students were warned of a quiz tomorrow.
Thur - We reviewed yesturday's lesson and then we had a Measurement Quiz. After that, we did a couple examples of conversions. Assignment: Pg. 11 #1-7. Due next class.
Fri - Notes on Unit Analysis. Then I did an example. I assigned Pg. 11 #9,10,11.
FM 20
Tue - Course Outline and Classroom Expectations. We briefly discussed Inductive and Deductive Reasoning to introduce the opening Unit.
Wed - Went to the computer lab and defined terms and found examples of Inductive & Deductive reasoning as well as terms that deal with Unit 1. Will discuss more next class.
Thur - math tutorial/work period.
Fri - Ch. 1.1: Making Conjectures: Inductive Reasoning. We did several examples of patterns in numbers and made (and proved) several conjectures. Assign: Pg. 12 #3,7,8,9,13. Due next class.
PRE-CALC 20
Tue - no class
Wed - no class
Thur - Course Outline and then moved on to Unit 1:Sequences & Series. We did a number of examples together and then students started working on the assignment. This whole section (1.1) is due next class (next day 3) and students are expected to be prepared to work on Ch. 1.2.
Fri - no class

Wed - I did an example of Linear Relations with the class and then assigned Pg. 22 #1ab for homework. DUE NEXT CLASS.
Thur - Reviewed a couple different Scenarios regarding positive/negative linear relations. Students worked on assignment: Pg. 22 #2, 3 - DUE NEXT CLASS.
