Then we went to the computer lab and started researching a job from the Leader Post/Star Phoenix websites that we want to apply for and started writing our cover letter and finishing our Resume. To get students to understand the Theory of 'How to do a Resume and Cover Letter', for homework they have to contact 5 DIFFERENT people who do hiring and research 1) How they decide who gets an Interview, 2) How many pages a Resume should be, 3) How many References they require (5 versus 3), 4) How long they prefer a Cover Letter to be, and 5) Do they prefer to have history in Chronological order with the most current information 1st or last.
Tue - We worked on finishing our Resume and Cover Letter (after we handed in yesturday's assignment.
